Company History
Lanco Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd (“Lanco”) was formed in 1994 specializing in engineering and machining works, with an expansion of scope to incorporate building and construction by tapping on its expertise as a Structural Steelwork builder. The fundamentals for this vertical integration had actually been cemented since 1980, when the entrepreneurial Mr. Tay started out Lanco Engineering Contractor as a sole proprietor in Jalan Papan empty-handedly.
With the formation of the company, Lanco operated from 50 Tuas Basin Link with a workshop area of 3,530m² and an office area of 360m². In 2009, due to expansion of business scope, projects and contacts, Lanco moved into its current premises at 23 Neythal Road with a workshop area of 4,235m² and an office area of 450m².
Lanco currently employs a strength of 120 workers across 4 departments; Machining, Fitting, Welding and General Works.
